The FX2 External Filter by Fluval is a multi-stage filter that offers impressive performance and numerous innovative features. With a circulation rate of 1,800 litres of water per hour, this filter efficiently cleans and maintains the water quality in your aquarium
One of the outstanding features of this filter is the Smart Pump™ technology, an innovative microchip that continuously monitors and optimises pump performance. This ensures efficient and reliable filtration.
The self-priming function makes installation simple and quick. Simply fill with water, connect the filter to the mains and the Smart Pump™ does the rest. Automatic venting every 12 hours ensures that the filter is always working at maximum efficiency.
The filter has removable and stackable baskets for filter media that prevent water bypassing and have room for a total of 3.9 litres of filter media. Mechanical, chemical and biological filter media are already included in the delivery to ensure comprehensive filtration.
AquaStop valves and the leak-proof Click-Fit mounting system prevent leaks. The valves are positioned at a convenient 45-degree angle for easy installation and rotation.
The non-clogging telescopic intake basket maintains a continuous flow of water and the water outlet spouts can be oriented in different directions to customise the water flow in the aquarium.
Furthermore, the rubberised feet ensure quiet operation. Despite its powerful features, this filter is the same height as the FX4 filter, but is 15% smaller and fits easily into standard sized cabinets.
