Crystal clear and healthy water
Poor lighting conditions, over-fertilisation or an excess of nutrients can have a negative effect on the aquarium water and promote algae. Floating algae lead to green and bacteria to whitish turbidity. The JBL water clarifier eliminates turbidity caused by bacteria and floating algae. The aquarium water is channelled through the stable, UV-resistant housing of the clarifier. The UV-C radiation kills the bacteria, other pathogens and suspended algae in the water flowing through. It is particularly efficient as the glass bulb is surrounded by a polished, reflective stainless steel film that reflects the UV-C radiation, thus doubling its efficiency. This can also have a positive effect on the elimination of stubborn algae, such as filamentous algae, as their spores are also largely killed off.

No harmful side effects
No change in water values and no negative effects on important cleaning bacteria in the filter.

Simple installation
Connect the water clarifier to the external filter or a separate water pump. Any desired installation position can be achieved thanks to the 90° angle included.

Safety
The JBL UV-C water clarifier has a safety switch for automatic switch-off when the device is opened. The housing is UV-resistant with sturdy walls and an LED lamp that indicates whether the UV-C burner is working. 2-glass design.
