The JBL ProTemp is a safety heater with a protective cage for optimal temperature control of aquariums.

Aquarium heater
Fish adapt to the ambient temperature. The vital functions of these cold-blooded animals decrease as temperatures drop. Therefore, the correct aquarium temperature is crucial to ensure proper feeding and efficient metabolic function. Depending on the fish's origin, the ideal temperature varies. Sustained low temperatures can lead to illness and even death.

Easy installation
The heater is inserted into the included protective cage. The desired temperature is selected using the dial, and the heating element is immersed in the aquarium at least up to the "min. water level" line. It is easily secured in the aquarium using the suction cups. The indicator light illuminates as soon as the heater is connected to the power supply. The JBL ProTemp can also be mounted and used horizontally, for example, in a turtle aquarium. Alternatively, it can also be used in external sumps, ensuring a constant temperature in the aquarium water without detracting from the appearance of the main tank.

Optimal temperature transfer
The JBL safety heater offers optimal heat transfer within a temperature range of 20-34 °C. The adjustment dial ensures a temperature accuracy of +/- 0.5 °C. The maximum achievable temperature depends on the water volume and the temperature difference to the surrounding room.

Maximum safety
Enclosed in a protective cage, the heater prevents fish from getting burned. It is waterproof, submersible up to 100 cm, and made of 2 mm safety quartz glass for added stability. If the water level drops or the heater is removed from the water, a safety thermal switch automatically cuts off the power supply to prevent overheating.
