Description

The spectacular structures of these natural stones are an absolute eye-catcher in freshwater aquariums and also in terrariums and the stones can be beautifully greened with plants. The holey rock contains lime and can easily harden the water in the aquarium.

The light beige to old white multi-hole stone is a classic bright aquarium stone. Cleaned with a pressure washer, stones look rather smooth on the surface, but they are interspersed with many small and large holes and craters. Fish, crayfish, crabs and even shrimps find perfect, completely natural hiding places on different levels.

Here you buy the multi-holed stones as a very special Olibetta Edition. We have put the set together and carefully selected the stones. On the box, you will find a step by step description with pictures that give you ideas on how to use these stones most effectively in the aquarium.

Multi-holed stones can be planted really well. Often it is enough, if you simply put a fern or other epiphytes in one of the holes - so you can save yourself the untying. These multi-holed rocks are very popular in aquariums with hard water, for example, for cichlids from Lake Malawi or Lake Tanganyika. Since it is calcareous, it can harden soft water.

Our expert Oliver Knott recommends:
Oldies but Goldies - These multi-holed rocks has been in the aquarium for so long that it is a true classic for a hard water biotope in the aquarium.
