Tetra pH / KH minus 250ml

With Tetra pH/KH Minus, you can tailor your aquarium's water parameters to the specific needs of your fish, creating the ideal environment for species that prefer soft water. Many tropical fish only truly thrive when the pH is below 7.5 and the carbonate hardness (KH) is maintained at approximately 4 °dH.

This formula allows you to lower the KH safely and effectively, which in turn naturally reduces the pH level. By doing so, you can transform your freshwater aquarium into a near-natural habitat while ensuring essential ecosystem stability. To maintain total control, we recommend regular water testing to prevent levels from dropping too low and to keep your KH consistently between 2 and 4 °dH.

Dosage & Application:

• To target a specific reduction in carbonate hardness, add up to 25 ml of Tetra pH/KH Minus per 100 litres of aquarium water. This dose reduces the KH by approximately 2 °dH and can be repeated every 2 to 3 days until your target value is reached.
• For gradual, long-term regulation, we recommend adding 5 ml per 100 litres every 2 to 3 days, which lowers the KH by approximately 0.4 °dH per application.
• Ensure good aeration during treatment and avoid adding supplemental CO₂ while the product is in use.
