Taxiphyllum barbieri 'Bogor Moss' is considered a classic among mosses and is appreciated by many aquascaping enthusiasts - not least because of its enormous adaptability! It grows into unique structures that sometimes spill over stones, roots or aquarium decor like curtains. It is not just a visually attractive addition to an aquarium - many aquarium dwellers like to hide and rest within its fine branches while herbivores do not consider it delicious enough to eat. The moss can be placed on the substrate or attached to the hardscape where it grows vertically as well as horizontally forming a dense carpet. An extra plus: it prefers warmer temperatures but it has few requirements and thrives well even without attention. Plenty of light and nutrients will ensure thriving growth.
