AquaArt Cryptocoryne spiralis 'Red'

Cryptocoryne spiralis 'Red'' is a member of the Indian water lily species. The rosette plant has ribbon-like, slightly wavy leaves with a reddish brown to reddish tinge with a midrib that remains green. It is ideal as a solitary planting in the middle area of warmer water aquariums that are not too large and offers a great contrast to lush green plants. Unlike its other relatives, it needs good to intense light conditions and prefers iron as a nutrient or nutrient-rich soil. Like most plants, it requires a CO₂ supply. This (still) rare beauty will quickly charm your aquarium dwellers!

Note: The cups are grown in a lab. Aquatic plants from in vitro culture are sterile. They are therefore also suitable for sensitive animals such as dwarf shrimp and can be used immediately. In vitro plants do not harbour stowaways such as snails or parasites. No pesticides are used.

Cryptocoryne spiralis 'Red' is a beautiful rosette plant that adds interesting colour contrasts in an aquarium. It needs enough room to grow well and thrive - plant it only in larger aquariums in an appropriate spot.
