Dennerle Plants Hygrophila lancea 'Araguaia' CUP

Hygrophila lancea 'Araguaia' or "Araguaia water friend" breaks up any monotonous mid-ground backdrop with its narrow, lance-like upright leaves in a reddish colour. The stem plant will form runners in good light and grow densely - shrimps love the protective forest cover this offers. Aquascapers like to create sophisticated layouts with this beautiful plant. This easy to care for plant likes bright light, medium temperatures and clean water.

Note that some types of snails favour this stem plant as a crunchy snack.

• Light requirement: high to medium
• Optimal temperature: 22 to 28 °C
• Water values: clean water, regular changes
• pH value: 5 to 8
• CO₂ and nutrient addition: recommended
• Propagation: cuttings of tips and side shoots

Note: The plants are grown in-vitro in sterile conditions in a laboratory. They are therefore also suitable for sensitive animals such as dwarf shrimps and can be used immediately. In-vitro plants do not harbour pests such as snails or parasites. No pesticides are used.
