Description
The Tetra Discus is a staple food in granulate form for discus fish in freshwater aquariums and is available in different units.
Tetra Discus is a staple food in popular granulate form for discus fish and adapted for special nutritional needs in colour and shape. The granulate contains all the vital nutrients, vitamins and trace elements and, due to the slow sinking, enables a suitable feed intake. In contrast to frozen food, the risk of disease introduction by pathogens is reduced to zero. Tetra Discus promotes well-being, natural colours and the growth of animals. The stabilised vitamin C increases the body's defences, promotes healthy growth and thereby prevents nutritional deficiency symptoms.
Feeding recommendation
Tetra Discus is a granulated staple food and should be fed at least 2-3 times a day in as small a portion as the fish can eat within a few minutes. The food can be supplemented with treats like Tetra Delica 2-3 times a week. The best-before date on the packaging indicates the point in time until which the feed remains intact when sealed and properly stored. The opened feed box should be used up within 3 months, because moisture, air and light break down the nutrients in the feed and thus impair the supply of essential ingredients.
Oliver Knott recommends:
With the Tetra Discus staple food, attention was paid to the special dietary habits of discus fish, so that they can be optimally and appropriately fed with the slowly sinking granules.
